Some situations are a matter of life and death. This is why we offer a substantial discount on our Advanced Driver Dynamics program for Drive-for-Life LLC licensed graduates. Parents are encouraged to observe or better yet, take the class with their teenage driver. Held at the Alliant Energy Center, we teach advance techniques such as:
- threshold braking (panic braking)
- skid control
- classroom session on vehicle dynamics
- emergency lane changes & evasive techniques
- shuffle steering
- rebound skid (often confused with overcorrecting)
- weight transfer
Click on Advanced Driver Dynamics for more information. (The Advanced Driver Dynamics program is not part of the State mandated training and instruction, but is an addition course for licensed drivers.) |
